“Put your heart, mind and soul into even your smallest acts. This is the secret of success. ”Kembimaka Seya” is one of the most extraordinary events presented by the Faculty of BSF of WUSL under the guidance and support of Art Committee. The “Kembimaka Seya” is an Art Festival that was initiated in the past, but due to certain circumstances it was not presented. Nevertheless the FBSF which holds the highest number of undergraduates among four faculties, once again rose with courage and motivation in year 2012/2013. Thereby the faculty has held “Kembimaka Seya” for four consecutive years. This year the art festival for the fifth consecutive year, in a very grand scale. The final concert is scheduled to be held on the 29th of September 2017 at the main auditorium of WUSL. But this is not an art festival that ends in a day. Prior to the final concert there were various events of music, drama, dance and so much more. Last year the art festival was celebrated throughout a week, but, this year moving on to a gigantic step, we extended it to a colorful month. So far the events that were held were, the street drama and walk informing people about the “Kembimaka Seya”, the opening ceremony, Sinhabahu stage drama, the puppet show, Gammaduwa Shanthikarmaya, Discussion night, Inter-faculty musical night and cultural musical night.
The Art committee of FBSF puts a great deal of time and effort on “Kembimaka Seya”; in order to discover the hidden talents among the management students. The main goal of this extraordinary event is to flourish the hearts and minds of people with the art of music, dance and drama. The major reason behind the success of “Kembimaka Seya” is the team work of all the undergraduates and graduates of mother Wayamba.
