The new B.Sc. Food Quality Management (External) degree offered by the Faculty of Livestock, Fisheries and Nutrition (FLFN) in Wayamba University of Sri Lanka (WUSL), jointly with Standards Institute of Sri Lanka (SLSI) will inaugurate its 1 st intake of students on the 23 rd January 2021 at the faculty premises. The new three-year degree programme offers an integrated approach to the study and assessment of quality processes in the food industry through an exclusively developed techno-managerial approach, covering areas of food quality, quality management, quality design, quality control, quality improvement, quality assurance, policy and business strategies.
