A Healthy Eco-Friendly Sausage in the Top 10 at Scale-Up Shop Competition Innovated by Students of FLFN & FAPM in WUSL

The Scale Up Shop, an initiative backed by the EU and German BMZ, is propelling local innovators into international markets. Iresha Perera (ABM) , in collaboration with Akeel Sahan (BT Department) and Ushani Ranasignhe (FLFN) crafted vegetarian sausages from discarded banana stems, addressing health and waste concerns. These sausages offer a healthy, eco-friendly alternative, embodying innovation, quality, and sustainability. Their impressive project secured a spot among the top 10 innovators from over 100 applications, showcasing their dedication and potential for global impact on Demo Day.
