‘Prayama’ Marks the End of Another Successful Social Project at Doratiyagedara Primary School, Kuliyapitiya.

‘Prayama’ a corporate social responsibility (CSR) project initiated by the Electronics Society of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka successfully contributed in renovating the school premises, activity room, study resources and other necessities of the students to enhance their educational facilities at Doratiyagedara Primary School, Kuliyapitiya.

This marked the completion of the 7th CSR project launched by the ‘Prayama’ which took in to action since 20th December 2021 to 22nd March 2022.

The commemorative event was honoured by the gracious presence of Dr. Sanjeewa Bowatte, the Acting Vice Chancellor of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, Dr. L.D.R.D. Perera, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Dr. M.A.A. Karunarathne, the Head of the Department of Electronics, Dr. W.A. Susantha Wijesinghe, the Senior Treasurer of the Electronics Society, staff representing the Department of Electronics, alumni, undergraduates and many others.

 

The Electronics Society is bound to be grateful to the support extended by the benefactors, all lending hands, Wayoscope, the University media unit, the Students’ Union and all those who extended their valuable support to conclude this project successfully.
