A tree planting event was organized by Horticulture Society (HortiSoc), Faculty of Agriculture and Plantation Management (FAPM) in celebration of Sinhala and Tamil New Year, 2022 on 18th April 2022 at Faculty Premises with the generous participation by Dean and Heads of the Departments, Professors, Academic Staff members, Academic supportive staff, Assistant Registrar, non-Academic staff members and Faculty student representatives from 1st, 2nd and 3rd year academic batches. A number of native fruit trees were planted on this occasion.
